IT’S FRIDAY FRIENDS! I’m writing this within the 4 walls of my stuffy office, looking out at the most glorius sunshine, thinking WHAT IS THIS LIFE?! I should be outside, drinking cocktails, prefably a million miles away and spending my day thinking about what I’m going to eat next and what side shall I tan. Instead, I’m pretending to write out an email because I literally have NO TIME or energy to blog in the evening anymore and a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
Anyway, it’s basically summer, or at least it has been in London for around 3 days of this week so it’s finally the time of year to sow our oats, get all touristy, drink iced tea from a Kilner jar and make plans. I am an advocate for trying new things and there are so many hidden gems dotted around LDN. So, instead of telling you all to stay indoors and watch Netflix, I decided to share some of the top things going on in London this Summer.
UDDERBELLY @ SOUTHBANK
My best girl Gabrielle and I recently had a drunken walk along Southbank and discovered the giant purple cow in all its glory. The summer long festival boasts comedy, fake grass, pop up food and alcohol and cheap tickets. The arena is free to enter until the shows begins and is such a good place for a few chills at sunset and a good show. You can find the lineup hereeee.
RED MARKET: LAST DAYS OF SHOREDITCH
Running from the 25th May until the 28th August, this pop up at the Red Gallery offers a range of street food to take anyone’s fancy and is also home to the talked about Junkyard Golf Club which has been on my list for ageeees. Free to enter on Thursdays and only £5 on Friday and Saturdays, the Red Market looks set to be a scorcher and I’m very excited about it.

ROOFTOP FILM CLUB
For all movie buffs, the Rooftop Film Club is scattered around LDN at the likes of The Queen of Hoxton and the Bussey Building. The Film Club is not only showing all the classics such as Ferris Buellers Day Off (which feels so appropriate right now) from the roof, but they also have bars, hotdogs and ice cream. And anything that includes food, alcohol and the chance to see Patrick Swayzee dirty dance for the millionth time is a winner to me. Find out what’s on hereee.

MAKE A DAY OF IT AT THE ROYAL OBSERVATORY, GREENWICH
Call me a nerd all you like but I am very up for a day of science at London’s only planetarium followed by sun and cakes on the hill at the Pavillian Cafe in Greenwich park.

PICNIC IN HYDE PARK
Hyde Park is hugeeee so if you can’t find somewhere to pitch up a blanket and spend the day eating snacks and drinking pimms then something is wrong. You can also boat on the serpentine which isn’t free but is too cute to cope with. A day at the park is definitely on my list whilst I’m poor and saving this summer.

For those of you that have followed me since day one (you babes) you’ll know that I spent last summer sunning it up, forgetting about real actual life that most people have to do so this summer, when I join the real world, it’s gonna be harddddd. I have the most amazing plans to go away but it does always make a difference when you spend a cheeky couple of days exploring home. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU’RE UP TO YOU CUTIES.
love love,
R.
