MAY FAVOURITES

Right kids, it’s basically June already and I’m freaking out. May was a beaut one and I stayed so so busy. The sun came out, I drank way too much (and decided I’m legit never drinking again), I’ve had cute mate dates and date nights and booked a trip to Thailand to stalk my boyfriend for 11 whole days and even though I’ve decided I will never enjoy working, bags have found a home under my eyes, I still don’t own a car and the English weather soaked us all on the way to work this morning after a wonderfully cute bank holiday weekend, life is gurddddd.

And without anymore nonsense, this is what I loved in May.

Original Source Skin Quench ‘Pineapple & Coconut Oil’ – Not much to say here other than the scent is amazing, the moisture is amazing and having a wash throughout May has just been marvellous.

nakd. Cocoa Orange Fruit & Nut Bits – Although you probably shouldn’t sit and eat a bag of these in one sitting, numerous times a week, the fact they are naturally packed with goodness, makes you feel a little bit better about yourself. And they’re yummy. so whatevs.

L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Summer Glow Lotion – I’ve been really impressed with the gradual tan lotion in the Sublime Bronze range. I only use the light tan and I’m too lazy to apply it every day but it has already made such a difference in getting rid of pasty winter skin.

The Big Bang Theory & Game of Thrones – Two completely different kettle of fish but both I have been loving for lazy days and rainy lunch times.

The Snapchat Beauty filter – I’m sorry but who doesn’t constantly use the contour filter to pretend we’re naturally flawless with perfectly toned cheek bones?! My favourite thing since snapchat began.

Rimmel’s Moisture Renew Sheer and Shine – I’m not sure why I thought ‘Sheer & Shine’ would give me a matte coral lip as it turns out, it’s not that at all. Instead, the lipstick in the shade 600 ‘Spin All Spring’ is a glossy peach and smells like sweet heaven. I have loved loved having a nude lip and I’m really impressed with how moisturising Rimmel’s new line actually is.

My Cath Kidston Card purse – I’ve actually had this hidden gem forever as part of my travel wallet but given that loyalty cards are my life, I feel like upgrading to a card purse is sooooo 21st century.

Converse – Getting these bad boys out this month finally means summer is here (or was here, hooray for that 5 day summer we had) I am so glad we have been reunited.

Unicorn Glitter Case by Skinny Dip – Now that I have lovely new phone screen, I thought it only right to treat myself to a summery phone case by Skinny Dip and I have been in awe. Who doesn’t love, glitter in jelly and unicorns and cute love hearts to protect our loved ones?!

June will be bitter sweet as I’m a lone soldier but have some super exciting events and I am buzzing to start getting summery up in here again! Bring on the BBQs and pub lunches and holiday shopping and packing and moaning about my diet going down the pan. YIPPEE.
