In true British style, I am an advocate for a good cup of tea and cake. Nothing beats it. Bad day? Get the kettle on. Rainy Sunday? Afternoon tea.
My two crazy best friends from high school and I, headed to our local, Tasha’s Tearoom for a chinwag and a selection of goodies. At £12 for an unlimited pot of tea or coffee, a range of sandwiches and a mass load of cakes and scones, it’s definitely a beaut, cheap way to spend a couple of hours with friends, no matter what age. As it would be rude not to, I took a few snaps to give you some lunch-spiration for Easter weekend (erm, yeah..)

I had the cutest afternoon getting fat on treats, drinking my body weight in breakfast tea and catching up with my favourite people. Afternoon Tea has become huge recently and it’s now so readily available in many restaurants, cafe’s and hotels and it’s definitely worth hunting down.
Tasha’s Tearoom, did well. We even found ourselves craving more sandwiches as we scoffed down our clotted cream and jam – which is basically unheard of.
A very well Sunday spent. How did you spend your weekend?

What a bargain for what looks and sounds like a delightful afternoon tea, Chloe.
