Happy Sunday Friends. WHERE HAVE I BEEN ALL WEEK?! Not shopping too much unfortunately but I have picked up a couple of little bits that are worth a chat about.
1. GONE GIRL – As you may know from my blog review of Gillian Flynn’s book, I was so excited to get the DVD on and see how it compares. I was surprised to see it was rated 18 despite having read the book, knowing full well how completely (and excuse my french) fucked it is. I was wrong to think any different as Rosamund Pike makes a brill choice for (SPOILER*) psycho wife, Amy. Probably won’t need to watch it again for a little while but have definitely lent it out to get opinions from everyone else and was deffo worth the buy.
2. NATURAL GLOW PALETTE BY BARRY M – My ONLY real beauty buy this week, as I feel like I can’t really give you a run down on my Bio Oil buy, as amazing as it is. This eye shadow palette is my faaav at the minute and the colours really compliment the shades in my last buys from Collection. I really love the shades and the neutral primer has been beaut. At only £10, I know that I’ll be buying this palette for as long as they keep selling it.
3. THE ‘SPUD’ COLLECTION ON ITUNES – This buy madeeee my Friday afternoon before work as I sat and downloaded then watched all three ‘Spud’ movies from iTunes. Any Youtuber fan or fangirls of Troye Sivan, have got to binge watch this trilogy, if they haven’t already. I won’t say too much as I’ll be posting a review of it all for you lovely people but it made me laugh, cry and cringe and I’ll fo’sure be watching them over and over.
That’s it for this week. I’ve had a lot of time off this week which has meant that I haven’t had the money to splurge on bits and bobs BUT I have been dating a lot and have visited some really cute pubs. Any Londoners should check out The Antelope in Tooting which apparently have insanely reserved quiz nights on a Monday and the Scooter Caffe by Waterloo which is super cute and has a pet cat. ’nuff Said.
Be seeing you,
lovelove,
R.
