CHEAT DAY – VANILLA AND CHOCOLATE FAIRY CAKES

CONFESSION –  Today, I cheated. I brought a box. Yes, ready made… I hope you don’t think any less of me but in my defence, it was after work, and I needed a quick half hour pick me up. This confetti fairy cake baking kit from the Co-Op and some cute decorations did the trick. Plz forgive me and give this a like.

ALL I NEEDED TO ADD –

1tsp unsalted butter

1tsp milk

4 tbsp cold water

1 medium egg

the kit, a bun tin anddddd a whisk.

so so so easy (as they were probably intended for 4 year olds) and so good. After 15 minutes in the oven and letting them cool, I added chocolate pipe icing and some cute wafer flowers as they looked so much prettier than the icing the kit provided (such a rebel, I know)

This is how my final fairy cakes turned out and they tasted equally as good as the real thing, especially with a cuppa (I’ll be better next time, I promise)

On another note, I did prep my blog for tomorrow which was veeeeery messy and currently sits nicely in the fridge so get excited for that!

Happy Eating!
