DEC 21 – THIS WEEK’S BEST BUYS

After having spent lots of money spoiling my family this christmas, I thought a cheeky online shop for myself was well earned this week! (ANY EXCUSE) I am a massive Missguided fan –  although with their material, some of their items can be a bit hit and miss (hurray for free returns) BUT, they’ve got some super cute things in at the moment.

1. My first best buy is actually two items, completely ready for a new year outfit and can be smartened up for work, is the Carolyne Chain Detail Mini Skirt and the Laurie Scallop Cropped Blazer. I don’t usually go for chains but I couldn’t say no to this and is bang on for the winter season. Also, no matter how many blazer’s you own, a cute black blazer is a must and I love the way this fits.

2. My second best buy will come as no shock to any one who knows me – FOOD. OR DRINKS. On Thursday, I went and picked up some new teas and ingredients for my chocolate mince pies, you can find the recipe to that here. After having picked up 2 boxes of new tea, including Vanilla Chai which I’m hoping good things from, I found PEANUT BUTTER HOT CHOCOLATE. Yes, you read that right. I am in love, although I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t obsess over PB and aren’t in a sweet mood.

3. My last best buy is also from Missguided. I always set out to buy trousers but every time I shop, I end up with tops, shoes and everything else. This time, I managed to hunt down a good pair of Louisa Pleat Front Tapered Trousers. The fit is the best I’ve tried in a while and they are insanely comfy. and smart. win.

There ya haaaave it! I’m not sure how many buys I’ll purchase next week as IT’S CHRISTMAS, and I’ll either be working (a lot) or eating myself into a food induced coma but stay tuned!
